New Library Prep Options (30.7.2025)

We now offer a new kit from IDT for the production of WGS libraries from cfDNA. The kit will replace the previously used one from Swift, as it works with less input and produces more reliable data. We can start with 500pg input, ideal is 25ng input.

We also offer a library prep service for ChIP Seq and Amplicon Seq. We use the DNA Kit from Watchmaker for that service. Here, too, we ideally start with 25ng, but smaller quantities of up to 1ng are also possible.

New Ribo Depletion Kit (18.7.2025)

We now offer library preps with the Watchmaker RNA Library Prep Kit with Polaris depletion. The kit works with depletion of ribosomal RNA instead of enrichment of Poly A, so that also long non-coding RNAs are captured. The kit is stranded and works with human, mouse and rat samples. It is suited for high as well as low-qulity input samples (including FFPE). The input amount is very variable, as little as 1ng is sufficient for high-quality samples, for FFPE/degraded samples at least 10ng of total RNA should be available.

New RNA protocol for degraded samples

With the Agilent XT HS 2 v7 RNA Library Prep kit, we now offer a new solution that is especially suited for degraded RNA. The transcriptome is enriched with baits similar to the exome library Prep. The target region in this case is the same as in the Agilent SureSelect v7 exome kit.

The RNA should ideally have a DV 200 of 20% or more. We use 200ng RNA as standard input, the concentration should be 20ng/ul or higher. Depending on the quality (DV200 above or below 50%) we can also start with less input material, in those cases also the concentration is supposed to be lower (10ng Input: ≥ 1ng/µl, 50ng Input: ≥ 5ng/µl, 100ng Input: ≥ 10ng/µl, 200ng Input: ≥ 20ng/µl)

Update: Please submit in batches of 8 samples.
